Restpy v6.0 — AI Assistant, redesigned home page, blog & academy refresh

A big platform update: a smarter AI assistant trained on your restaurant's own data, a magazine-style home page, and a redesigned content section so we can teach you the platform faster.

Restpy v6.0 — AI Assistant, redesigned home page, blog & academy refresh

Restpy v6.0 is our biggest single release this year. Here's the lineup:

AI Assistant — now trained on your restaurant

Ketpy AI now answers in the voice of your restaurant. It knows your menu, your prices, your opening hours, your most-popular item by daypart. Guests on the QR menu can ask "what do you have for someone who doesn't eat onions or garlic?" and get a real answer.

Magazine-style home page

Every heading and subheading on the public home page is now flush-left, photography is bigger, and the final CTA sits on a real restaurant interior with a dark gradient. We've also added proper icon-cards for email, WhatsApp and office contact.

Blog & Academy refresh

The post you're reading now is part of the refresh — every article gets a hero image, justified body text, related-posts strip, and a clean reading experience tuned for phones first. The Academy is now a grid of cards rather than a sidebar of links.

Smaller things

  • 2FA can now be enforced per-role (cashier, manager, kitchen, admin)
  • Service worker cache version bumped to v6.0 so old assets get evicted
  • 15 new AI knowledge-base entries about contact, plans, parent company, refunds
  • BillingGuard auto-lock now warns 7, 3 and 1 day before expiry
